Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our comprehensive operational processes, including:

  • Compliance
  • Data privacy
  • Financial management
  • Vendor relations
This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless integration and functioning of our operational infrastructure, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance with GDPR, SOC 2, and other relevant standards.


  • Manage and secure employee and contractor agreements, ensuring they are updated and uploaded correctly.
  • Lead quarterly management meetings to review and strategize on organizational direction and compliance.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance by overseeing data flow analysis, interfacing with local GDPR representatives and legal advisors, and maintaining documentation such as DPAI.
  • Coordinate SOC 2 audit preparations, working closely with auditors and ensuring all systems and data are monitored with designated owners.
  • Decide the handling of security questionnaires between operations and tech teams, ensuring efficient and accurate completion.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new employees, including system setups and compliance with auditing standards like Vanta.
  • Stay informed on SOC 2, GDPR, and potential frameworks like ISO 27001, implementing necessary changes and updates.
  • Develop and maintain continuous training programs for employees on privacy laws, compliance requirements, and cybersecurity awareness.
  • Regularly review and update the company’s privacy and security policies to align with current laws and regulations.
  • Establish a risk management process for identifying and mitigating privacy and security risks.
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships to ensure compliance with the company’s privacy and security standards.
  • Prepare and manage the operational compliance budget, including audits, training, and technology investments.
  • Generate financial reports, build projections, and oversee tax preparation and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Compile and analyze financial and performance reports, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data flows and explore ways to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Attend and contribute to leadership meetings, providing insights and updates on operational status and initiatives.
  • Audit and improve existing workflows and technology stacks to enhance productivity and reduce inefficiencies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in operational leadership, particularly in a tech or SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 standards and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on financial management and budgeting.
  • Experience with software tools such as QBO, Vanta, HubSpot, and Intercom.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement training programs related to privacy, security, and operational best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively interfacing with auditors, legal advisors, and internal teams.
